How we support
At Women’s First Network, we empower women in high-stress public service roles, such as first responders and healthcare workers, by offering essential mental health resources, resilience training, and leadership development. Our programs are designed to help women navigate the unique challenges of their careers, fostering confidence and growth at every step.Through our quarterly virtual coaching cohorts, participants gain foundational leadership skills in a supportive, small-group setting. These sessions provide women early in their careers with tools to step confidently into leadership roles. Additionally, we offer specialized mental health resources to help women manage stress, prevent burnout, and build long-term resilience.By joining Women’s First Network, women become part of a strong community that uplifts and supports them, enabling them to excel in their careers and make an even greater impact in their communities. Together, we’re building a future where every woman in public service has the resources and support to thrive. We will be announcing our full curriculum of in-person and virtual support services in December 2024.
Who we support
At Women’s First Network, we are dedicated to supporting women in high-stress, traumatic roles that require extraordinary courage and resilience. While traditional first responders such as police officers, firefighters, and paramedics are a part of our mission, we acknowledge that many other women serve on the frontlines of public service and face similar challenges. We serve women in disaster response, medical and healthcare, public safety communications, and military roles, as well as those working in corrections, legal aid, and community outreach. Additionally, we provide support for environmental disaster responders, domestic violence advocates, and frontline communicators who work in crisis environments. These women not only care for their communities in times of need but often do so while facing significant mental health and leadership challenges.Women’s First Network is here to ensure that these dedicated women have the tools, support, and resources they need to thrive, both professionally and personally.
